Helen & Anthony, Pinner & Borehamwood
The 25th July saw the marriage of Helen and Anthony. A marriage of two parts, the Catholic Wedding Rite and a Greek Orthodox wedding. A first for me and a ceremony and day full of changes.
The ceremony included the Orthodox Blessing of RIngs, the Catholic Wedding Rite, the Joining of the Right Hands, the Crowing, Common Cup and the Ceremonial Walk. A marriage of real difference and I enjoyed it immensely!
The fun was only just beginning because the Wedding Breakfast and Reception was held at the Holiday Inn in Boreham wood. Again the evening was full of events that made the whole day exciting. Traditional Greek dancing the Groom dancing with the Best Men, the bride dancing with all the women and the traditional pinning of money to the Bride and Groom. A wonderful event. These images are amongst the many that go to tell the story and the first time I have photographed a Cash and Carry!!!
